So we weren't really expecting any guests to stay during January - it's one of those 'hunker down' months when you are getting over Christmas and back into your routine.
Just as our guests left on 2nd January, we got a message from a lovely family who asked if they could visit on the 3rd for 3 nights so a lovely start to the new year, to get the house heated up and cosy once again!
Here's the review they left for us -and even shared a picture of the kids and dog on our terrace (published with their permission):
"We stayed at Gareloch Cottage for 3 nights in January 2023. The cottage was perfect for our family of 4 including our two kids 6 & 4. The cottage itself is very well presented and very clean. It had all the amenities we needed to including a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms with a third room accommodating a pull out sofa bed.
The area itself is perfect for a base to explore. We not only managed to see Loch Lomond, we travelled to Oban and also visited the surrounding outstanding area. Jo responded in a very timely manner with every question answered. We can't thank them enough for allowing us to stay in their lovely cottage. We highly recommend staying here."
